Befriending Asylum Seekers

Last year, when the Effective Living Centre (at Christ Church UC, Wayville) ran their very successful ‘Befriending Asylum Seekers’ evening, a small handout detailing places where refugees can get assistance was available. It was also placed on the Effective Living website.

The booklet proved so helpful that this year ELC was asked by the South Australian Council of Churches if they could update and expand it and then publish it, making it available at councils, schools, churches, police stations etc. The result is an attractive 28-page booklet, with categories for the old and new entries. It has been kindly printed by a Quaker member of the SACC.
